Designed specifically for areas with extreme conditions and very high winds, the High Wind Windspire® is able to withstand 168mph winds.  The design includes the patented technology in the original Windspire but features a shorter version of the patented giromill rotor. The High Wind Windspire is rated at 1.1kW at 30mph and is estimated to generate 2066kWhs in 15mph average winds.  The rotor is 13 feet tall and 4 feet wide and sits on the standard 10 foot tall base pole.
